You’ll manage the artwork preparation process from incoming customer files through proofing and final release for our HP Indigo 25K and 200K digital presses. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design skills with practical knowledge of packaging, color and print production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt customer-supplied artwork to pouch layouts and dielines while preserving brand standards.
  • Review incoming files and identify missing information, artwork problems or technical issues before production.
  • Preflight artwork for correct dimensions, bleed, image resolution, fonts, color separations and white ink layers.
  • Prepare digital proofs and scaled hard proofs for review and approval.
  • Coordinate artwork corrections and revisions with customer service, customers and production personnel.
  • Prepare print-ready files for the HP Indigo 25K and 200K using established prepress and digital workflow standards.
  • Support accurate CMYK and Pantone color reproduction and evaluate printed samples against approved targets.
  • Maintain organized artwork files, proofs and revision histories so production uses the correct approved version.
  • Troubleshoot artwork and prepress issues with the press team and manage multiple projects to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in prepress, print production or packaging graphic design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Ability to create dielines and prepare precise, production-ready packaging artwork.
  • Understanding of CMYK, Pantone colors, white ink, bleed, resolution and print file preparation.
  • Familiarity with RIP software and digital front-end workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with customer service and production teams.
Preferred Experience

  • Flexible packaging and pouch artwork preparation.
  • HP Indigo digital printing workflows.
  • Working directly with customer-supplied artwork and coordinating revisions and proofs.
Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
